WVCDL v. City of Martinsburg et al.
On January 24, 2011, WVCDL
filed a lawsuit against the City of Martinsburg, its
mayor, its city manager, and its police chief in the U.S.
District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia,
challenging the constitutionality and statutory validity
of a Martinsburg ordinance prohibiting carrying a firearm
in city-owned buildings.
