A good friend is purchasing his first firearm and needs to find a range for training and practice. Anyone know of any reasonably-priced ranges or gun clubs he could join? He's not looking for a $300/year membership.

Tango Down Range in Hedgesville I highly recommend.
340 Defense at the VA/WV border I've been to once however their rates were sketchy, I ended up heading to Tango instead.
Valley Guns II is an indoor range, so you'd have to use their ammo.

Your friend should check out Paramount Tactical Solutions for training.
